The critically-acclaimed Korean-fusion steakhouse, Joule, opened it’s bright, airy space with the help of some Electric Coffin touches. Art throughout the dining room played with the restaurant’s name homonyms: Joule (the unit of energy) showed up in a hand-painted atomic damask wallpaper while Jewel (cut gemstones) made an appearance through a neon chandelier disguised as a jewelry shop sign. Each art touch has elements of the chef’s Korean heritage with an upscale-yet-approachable vibe. This project was completed in partnership with Heliotrope Architects.
